What a club!

I am a 15 year old that is in all likelihood a 20 handicapper. I was hesitant to buy it after hitting it at stores but after my basi round on the course with it, this thing is so deadly exact and is at least 30 yards further than my old driver. I employed to only hit 3 or 4 fairways out of 14 but now I hit 11 or 12. I in truth haven’t seen much divergence amidst the lofts that you may switch it to (I have the 10.5 degree)but the face angle change is apparent. There is no discerned area to adjust the face angle separately, so if you are a low handicap that wants to shape their shots, go with the r11s or the Razr Fit. If you increase the loft, it is at a draw but if you decrease it is a fade (for a righty). If you need help hitting more fairways and you are getting old and can’t hit the ball far anymore, get the Taylormade Rocketballz driver. You will not be dissapointed.

Best Wood I Ever Hit!!!

I just tried my new Rocketbalz one wood driver for the original time yesterday.To commence with it was very easy to adjust. This club is very easy to hit as well and I hit it at least 20 yards further on intermediate than my old driver (a Taylor Made R9). My playing collaborator was so impressed that he is going to get one for himself!!! I highly commend this to any golfer that wants to hit it long and straight!!!

Silly Name — Excellent Club!

OK, I’m no scratch golfer, but I’ve worked my way around the links over the past three decades, and not long ago started getting more severe in regards to the game again. I have been playing TM R11 irons and a TM Burner 2.0 Superfast driver, 3W, and 3H for the past 9 months or so, and these have set the benchmark for me. I tried out the initial R11 last fall — and it hit somewhat well for me — but I liked the weight and action of the Burner Superfast 2.0 better. Long story short, I dented the face of my driver, and necessitated a alternate while TM fixes/replaces my Burner 2.0. So I headed to the local golf store, and tried out the R11S, the Callaway Razr Fit, the RBZ tour, and the RBZ “regular” driver.

I in truth liked the sound and feel of the Razr Fit. This is a HUGE betterment over the Razr Hawk and former Callaway drivers I’ve hit. Surprisingly, I didn’t care much for the R11s feel, but LOVED the RBZ 9.5* driver. I tried the tour model, but it felt a little rigid and flat for my taste (a testament to my prowess, I suppose…). After warming up for 5-10 minutes I was actually leaning toward the RBZ. So I tried the Razr Fit again, and darned if I didn’t crank one 282 yards on the simulator right up the middle! Grrrr – I thought I had made up my mind. I swopped back to the RBZ and hit it 299, and 305 on the second go.

So any golfer worth his/her salt knows that distance is nothing; accuracy is everything. In all honesty, I felt that I had much more control with the RBZ than with any other club I have hit. As I was leaving the shop, I passed by the rescue and hybrid club section, and saw an RBZ 3 (19*) hybrid. Of course I HAD to take that back to the simulator. My firstborn hit was so-so. The second hit was perfect, but no power. The computer said it was ~ 220 yards. I thought there is no way that could be true. That’s my max with the Burner 2.0 3H. So I took another swing… 230. And another… 245 — with a 3 iron! Did I buy that club too? Of course I did! Funny thing is, it’s going to take galore time to figure out how to use it out of the tee box and on the fairways. Goodbye 3 Wood, and those 198-yard par 3′s are going to be TOO CLOSE now! Sorry, back to the driver…

The bottom line:

-These may not be for everyone, but I utterly LOVE the feel and performance of the RBZ. I took my new clubs to the range this afternoon, and they delivered as promised!
-The adaptable face angle is super easy to tweak, and responds fantastically well.
-At $299 (vs $399 for other competing clubs) this one is a no-brainer.
-The name is, well… “cheeky” at best, but the product perfectly rules.

A mildly amusive story:

As I was leaving the shop, a seasoned golfer (who happened to detect me attempting out these clubs) asked if I was on the tour. I laughed and said, “hardly!”. He looked at me in disbelief, and I overheard him telling one of his buddies with regards to my “powerful swing”. Made my day.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
John Hoskison was educated at St John’s Leatherhead. After a short time working in a bank, he became a professional golfer and played the European PGA tour until 1985.

He was elected Surrey Professional Golf Association Captain and has twice represented Europe in PGA Cup matches versus America. He has also led England in the European Team Championships. In 1992, he won the Club Professionals Grand Slam including the national title.

He steadily contributes to golf magazines.

Compelling book when it comes to prison life.

John Hoskison was a professional golfer whose life was turned upside down when he knocked down and killed a cyclist while driving home one night.

Found to be over the limit, he was sentenced to three years in jail. This is his story of that time.

Forget whatsoever you may listen with regards to prison life from the government or the media or whomever – this book is by someone who has actually experienced the current conditions.

As well as detailing the writers thoughts and sensations over the period, which range from one end of the spectrum to the other, the book is likewise an indictment of the current regime.

The one thing that stands out above all others is the seeming reluctance on the percentage of anybody to do anything regarding rehabilitation. While prison is supposed to be a punishment, it seems that the inmates are seldom prepared for release, with the greatest deviations being felt by those coming to the end of long sentences.

Imagine taking yourself out of society – even five years ago – and then dropping yourself back in now. Think of all the things that have changed among then and now. How would you cope, attempting to catch up?

Excellent book

Hoskison is an magnificent writer and his story is very compelling: a one-time fault that changed his life forever. How galore humans have driven beneath the influence and merely gotten lucky not to injure somebody or get pulled over? Although I live in the U.S., I found the details of the prison life interesting, altho demoralizing at times. I agree with one of the other reviewers that the wife of the man killed sounds like an aweinspiring person and I would have liked for the book to include a bit more in regards to them. All in all, exceedingly well-written and edited!

An honorable account

I was engrossed from the basi page. Essential reading for wayward teenagers,their parents and any individual who has said; “That wouldn’t occur to me, I am too careful.” It changed my sentiment of what in truth happens in prison. It is a sad account, nevertheless it leaves you sentiment uplifted.

Most Reliable Club in the Bag

If you are looking for a dependable club to hit the ball straight and get the ball on the green to the fairway – look no further than this club. I have played with this club for a few years now – and have ultimately gotten around to reviewing this club because I feel that it will take assorted strokes off of your game – as it has my own. Highly recommended!

Perfect Companion for my 2008 TM Burner Driver

I necessitated to match my Taylormade 2008 Burner Driver with a stiff shaft 3 wood. After buying goods online at dissimilar places and visiting my local huge box sporting good stores I in the long run found the 3W at a good price through Amazon and Carl’s Golfland. After ordering it I noticed it didn’t list the shaft so I called Carl’s and spoke to a very helpful fellow (sorry I can’t do not forget his name) who assured me he would take care of it personally. A few days later it arrived and was incisively the configuration I was looking for. I’ve played with the club a few times now and it’s GREAT. I love the 2008 Burner series and am going to get the 5W next. I will be ordering it through Amazon and Carl’s again. Hats off to a great experience.

Very Happy with this clubs performance

This is an exceedingly forgivng club, with the higher loft, and the stiff shaft, it is very easy to use, hit with, and gives splendid distance, more than my former 5 wood. Because of the higher loft you may use it to fade over tree’s and around corners, or play a draw shot and hook it around corners or for a lower loft shot with more roll. It’s a lot of fun to use and well worth the investment.

Taylormade Draw

The TaylorMade r7 Draw irons have a greatest or most complete or best possible offset that positions the leading edge of the clubface behind the front of the hosel, making it having little impact to square the club face at impact. Draw-Weighted Technology reinforces weight toward the heel of the clubhead which positions the Center of Gravity (CG) back and closer to the shaft for heightened draw bias. A thinner clubface and deep cavity further position the Center of Gravity (CG) low and back in the club head for easier, higher introductory launch trajectory. A wide, cambered sole ensures consistent, smooth transition through the affect area.
